Sports Hunting in the Canadian Arctic

The barrens. The cold desert. The wasteland. These are only a few of the ways early explorers described this northern land - but it actually supports a surprising number of wildlife species.

It was the presence of large mammals that first drew the Inuit to this country, and it was the same polar bear, musk ox, caribou and whales that kept the white man coming back long after it was realized that there was no reliable Northwest Passage. It is these same animals that continue to draw hunters  to the polar regions today.

A hunt in the Canadian Arctic is an experience you will never forget.
